Crooked River Weddings offers you several ceremony options. Your ceremony can take place on top of the hill with the river as a back drop. The most popular spot is crossing the sixty foot covered bridge leading to a grass point where your guests will enjoy the river on both sides of the seating as they watch the paddle wheel spinning in the rivers current. Then there is the barn, this 4800 square feet 100 year old barn, sits on top of the river bend. For the reception this 120 foot long barn with its 40 foot ceiling and old open beam trusses will seat up to 350 guests. Big doors open to the front for your guest to enter, and big doors on the back lead out to an 80 foot deck where your guests can enjoy the beautiful 200 acres of land. Here they can enjoy the river, deer grazing in the grassy meadows and finally, leading to a beautiful sunset going down over Amish farms in the distance.
Back in the barn there is an old granary room that Kent and Karm converted into a bar. This bar has a work station, big cooler, freezer space for ice and a Bartender counter. For your buffet style dinner, we have built a mobile buffet tables with an old metal covered roof. There are overhead lights in the barn and strands of small white lights strung back and forth for an awesome effect. Your guest will definitely enjoy themselves. They may not even want to go home!!!
Crooked River Weddings also has an old stone guest house for the bridal party to get ready, hang out, and have a good time until the ceremony starts.
